[Announcement] The National Central Library “WriteAid Similarity Scanner System” is available until August 31, 2026, and is limited to graduating master's and doctoral students.
System Introduction:
The “WriteAid Similarity Scanner System” was commissioned by the Ministry of Education and developed by the National Central Library. Based on data from the “National Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations in Taiwan” (including both publicly and non-publicly accessible records), it provides support services for thesis writing and quality improvement.
Eligible Users:
Graduating master’s and doctoral students who are currently writing their theses and have not yet uploaded them to the thesis submission system. (After entering the thesis submission system, users will be able to access the “Plagiarism/Similarity Check” function as needed.)
Service Period: Available until August 31, 2026 for the current semester.
Important Notes:
- Each user is entitled to 5 checks in total. The first 3 checks provide immediate results, while the 4th and 5th checks require a 24-hour waiting period before re-submission. Please use your quota carefully.
- Uploaded files must be the user’s original thesis work. Do not upload files that are not in thesis format or official theses that have already been submitted and registered in the system. If the system detects an abnormally high similarity with existing records, access to the report may be automatically restricted.
- Each report link will also be sent by email to the thesis advisor to facilitate discussion between advisors and students.
- At the end of each semester, all student accounts and related reports will be deleted. Students who use the system are advised to download their reports in advance.
